There's some basic rules we need to follow to achieve the sultry perfect pout, here it goes:
1. Always start with the clean lips: gently exfoliate the lips using sugar scrub or balm scrub for lips (or you can make it your own!) there'll be in my next post :D
2. Intensify the color by using lip pencil, lining your lips neutralized their pinkness, so the lipstick will be more opaque and closer to the color you want.
3. Blotting in between application by pressing a tissue on you lips. Don't put the tissue in between lips and press down because that will make your lipstick wear off unevenly.
4. Dab a highlighter on your cupid (area on your upper lips, shape like cupid bow) the light reflecting particles will help draw attention to this part of your mouth. You could also use a creamy concealer in the same spot to help define your lips.
5. Know your formula: matte can be long lasting but may dry your lips out. Creamy formula are hydrating but may not last long. And longwearing formula are more comfortable than they used to be, experiment if you may !
6. Applying lipstick with brush can make it last longer, and don't forget to top it with gloss. The shine will help your lips look even plumper. If you don't like the sticky feeling just use , just use a small drop on the bottom of your lips for a similar effect.
