5 Things To Do Before Gettin' Lash Extension

There's a new addiction on La la Land these days, tat is the famous oversize lashes lets say (ahem Kim Kardashian). As seen at the Grammy, the obsession was taken to whole new proportions, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Kelly Rowland and Kelly Osbourne. Tough some pulled off the extreme look better than others, like old Hollywood style Adele's pull trough that worked perfectly with her winged liner (can the girl do any wrong?)

The short cut ways to get that super hot bat winking lash is lash extension and here's some things that you need to know before getting that super famous bat winking done:

1. Visit the bathroom and lay off your "business" here and now, coz the appointment will take two to three hours hold. And its not too lady like to jump off the bathroom with your eyes covered with pads and glue

2. Right eye makeup remover is A MUST! Avoid anything with PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), Hexalene Glycol, Butylene or Propylene Glycol) often found in oil-free removers, they can break down the lash adhesive. Counterintuitively, do use removers containing oil.

3. Hold on your horses: your lash extension couldn't get wet for 24 hours, so that means no swimming, showering, hot tubs or stem rooms.

4. Unless you really trust your aesthetician, stay clear of facial and steer clear of your eyes. Beware, excessive tugging or pulling including rinsing will shorten the life of your lashes. Better save than sorry.

5. Stock up on facial cleansing wipes. Turns out it's really hard to wash your face with traditional cleanser without getting your eyes wet. A stash of makeup removing towelettes will make your life a lot easier.
